In the Bible, the Spirit of truth is often referred to as the comforter. And I think the Holy Spirit is called the comforter because when you have the Spirit of Christ in you, you never give up. You never lose hope. You keep hope alive. You can have hope, no matter how hard things get.

 You trust God and live in the reality in which God is a giver, not a taker. God is a blesser, not a curser. God made you, and He cherishes and loves you.

What about keeping the commandments? Jesus said the greatest commandment is,

 

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

What about all my sin? That is what the cross is for.

What about all the mistakes I make? God loves you. God wants to bless you. He wants you to overcome.
